About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Artisan Boilermaker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining boilers, tanks, and other metal structures. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our operations, particularly in a mining or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and Assembly: Construct, assemble, and install boilers, tanks, and other metal structures according to specifications and safety standards.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all mining and manufacturing safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Emergency Call-Outs: Be available for standby duties and emergency call-outs to address urgent repairs and maintenance needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with industry regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 qualification with a minimum of N2 Boilermaker level academic qualifications.
- Certification: A valid national trade test certificate as a Boilermaker.
- Experience: 2-3 years of post-trade experience, preferably in a mining or manufacturing environment.
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with mining and manufacturing safety regulations.
- Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
- Driver’s License: A valid South African driver’s license.
