WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We need fearless, quick-thinking professionals who meet these non-negotiable requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License (Manual transmission preferred) – You’ll be operating patrol vehicles under high-pressure situations.
- PSIRA Registered (Grades E, D, C & Armed Response) – Must be up-to-date and in good standing.
- Valid SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate – Proficiency in handling firearms is critical.
- Physical Fitness – Must pass a fitness assessment (running, strength, and endurance tests).
- Clean Criminal Record – No pending cases or serious convictions.
- Willingness to Relocate/Work in Nelson Mandela Bay – Must be based in or able to move to the area.
Bonus points if you have:
- Tactical/Police/Military Background
- First Aid & Emergency Response Training
- Experience in High-Risk Security Operations
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Armed Response Officer at Atlas Security, you’ll be the first line of defense for homes, businesses, and public spaces. Your duties include:
- Rapid Emergency Response – React swiftly to alarms, distress calls, and criminal activity with precision.
- Armed Patrol & Surveillance – Conduct high-visibility and covert patrols in assigned zones.
- Real-Time Reporting – Document incidents accurately using digital reporting systems.
- Crime Prevention – Deter threats through proactive visibility and intelligence gathering.
- Public Safety Assistance – Aid law enforcement in apprehending suspects when necessary.
- Community Engagement – Build trust by interacting professionally with residents and clients.
