What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the efficiency and compliance of the trade test application process. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Compliance of Trade Test Applications:
- Verify all submitted trade test applications and supporting documentation.
- Provide feedback to trade test centres on the outcome of applications.
- Follow up on remediation requirements for incomplete or non-compliant applications.
- Recommend the outcome of verified applications to the Senior Officer.
- Query Resolution and Documentation:
- Respond to queries related to trade test applications and the issuing of serial numbers.
- Maintain accurate records of employers’ details.
- Collect, capture, and analyse information for review purposes.
- Ensure compliance with data control measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Achievement of Work Plans:
- Execute work plans and drive real-time evidence collection.
- Produce detailed reports on the implementation of work plans.
- Implement documented data management practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Policy and Procedure Compliance:
- Adhere to all policies and procedures within the unit.
- Record, file, and ensure the availability of Proof of Performance (POP) information.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) as a minimum requirement.
- A National Diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF 6) in Business Management, Public Administration, Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a skills development capacity or a related field.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- The ability to work with detailed documentation and ensure compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for responding to queries and providing feedback.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution.
