Position Details
- Contract Type: Fixed-Term (12 Months)
- Remuneration: R300 per day (competitive for entry-level government positions)

Who We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will possess:
✔ Academic Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics/Accounting (Non-negotiable)
- OR Grade 12 with any finance-related qualification
✔ Essential Skills: - Computer literacy (MS Office, financial systems)
- Impeccable numerical accuracy
- Outstanding customer service abilities
- Strong problem-solving and report-writing skills
✔ Personal Attributes: - Trustworthiness and financial integrity
- Ability to work under pressure in a tourism environment
- Passion for conservation and public service
Your Day-to-Day Impact
As a financial custodian of our reserves, you’ll:
- Revenue Collection & Management
- Process all cash transactions with 100% accuracy
- Implement strict cash handling protocols
- Banking & Reconciliation
- Prepare daily deposits following National Treasury regulations
- Reconcile cash receipts with supporting documentation
- Financial Administration
- Maintain meticulous financial records
- Assist with petty cash management and inventory controls
- Conservation Support
- Ensure all revenue directly supports reserve operations
- Work alongside conservation teams in unique environments
