Position: Security Officer (Grade C)
Location: Vaal Triangle
What We’re Looking For:
To ensure we continue delivering high-quality security services, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Matric Certificate – A foundational educational qualification.
- PSIRA Grade C Certification – This is a minimum requirement for this position.
- Firearm Competency – Having an SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns and shotguns will give you a competitive edge (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Driver’s License (Code B) – Not essential, but a plus for applicants with a valid driver’s license.
- Clear Criminal Record – Essential for maintaining the integrity and trustworthiness of our security team.
- Good Health & Fitness – The nature of the role requires that you are in good physical condition, ready to take on challenges that come with ensuring safety and security.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer with Afri Guard, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Patrolling designated areas to ensure the safety of residents, workers, and properties.
- Monitoring surveillance equipment and responding swiftly to any security breaches or incidents.
- Controlling access to restricted areas and verifying the identification of individuals entering.
- Reporting any suspicious activity and collaborating with law enforcement agencies if necessary.
Your role is vital in upholding peace and order, and you will be expected to remain vigilant at all times.
