Who Can Apply?
- Age: Between 18 and 33 years old.
- Education: A completed matric qualification (Grade 12) or National Certificate.
- Employment Status: Currently unemployed and eager to start a career.
- Previous Experience: Applicants should not have participated in any previous learnership with another organization.

What You Will Do – Duties and Responsibilities
As a YES Learner in the Production and Distribution department, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that will provide you with a well-rounded experience. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Stock Management:
- Manage stock according to Clover’s Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure stock is well-maintained, tracked, and correctly stored in the warehouse.
- Help in the receipt, dispatch, and re-supply of stock during the receiving process.
- Prevent stock shrinkage and losses by ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with cycle counts and returns to suppliers.
- System Maintenance and Updates:
- Keep the warehouse system updated, including adding new products and discontinuing outdated ones.
- Ensure that all stock is placed at the correct locations for easy retrieval and efficient workflow.
- Set up scanners and ensure smooth operation of the stock tracking systems.
- Warehouse Operations and Safety:
- Perform regular housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Adhere to safety regulations and make sure they are followed by all staff members.
- Optimize the use of warehouse equipment such as picking cages and ensure efficient picking processes.
- Administrative Duties:
- Capture essential documentation, including truck and driver information.
- Assist with satellite reports, interbranch communications, and invoice management.
- Handle inquiries, follow up on queries, and ensure all reports are accurate and timely.
- Close routes and perform administrative tasks using Clover’s Electronic Resource Management System (ERMS).
- Store and Stock Management:
- Receive, store, and issue stock parts, ensuring proper documentation is captured.
- Collaborate with the Stock Controller to manage parts inventory and ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain high standards of stock security.
- Support and Collaboration:
- Work closely with the engineering team to receive direct parts and ensure proper storage.
- Ensure that all stock areas adhere to high standards of safety and housekeeping at all times.
