What Will You Be Doing?
As a Reaction Officer with Mamba, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding swiftly and effectively to alarms and emergencies.
- Monitoring assigned zones to prevent and identify security violations.
- Communicating clearly with team members and clients to provide updates and support.
- Preparing detailed reports and documentation related to incidents and daily activities.
- Working collaboratively with law enforcement and other emergency services as needed.
In this role, you’ll need to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and be prepared to take decisive action when required. Your ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and poise will be key to your success.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Matric Certificate: A completed high school education is essential for this role.
- Valid Driver’s License: You must have a current driver’s license to navigate your assigned areas efficiently.
- PSIRA Registration: Your PSIRA registration must be up to date, including certificates for Reaction Officer and Grade C/B/A.
- Clear Criminal Record: A clean criminal record is required to ensure the highest standards of trust and integrity.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: You must be able to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.
- Good Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is crucial for coordinating with your team and interacting with clients.
- Competency Certificates: All relevant competency certificates, including your Statement of Results, SAPS Competency, Business Purpose, and Regulation 21 (dated within the last 6 months) are necessary.
