As a security officer with 24/7 Security Services, you’ll be entrusted with maintaining a safe environment for our clients, deterring potential security threats, and ensuring that our high standards of protection are upheld. Our clients rely on us for peace of mind, and we’re seeking team members who can uphold these expectations with professionalism, dedication, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Regularly monitor the premises assigned to you, ensuring safety and vigilance.
- Incident Response: Act quickly and effectively to respond to any incidents, following company protocols to resolve issues and provide a safe environment.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed logs and reports of any occurrences, incidents, or concerns, ensuring all information is documented accurately for accountability and transparency.
- Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Work closely with local authorities when needed, and understand when to escalate situations to law enforcement.
- Customer Service: Interact respectfully with members of the public, answering questions and providing assistance as needed to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
What You Bring to the Role
At 24/7 Security Services, we are looking for team members who not only meet the minimum requirements but also exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to serving the community.
- PSIRA Grade C Certification: This is a required certification that confirms your qualification as a Grade C security officer.
- Educational Background: Minimum Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Communication Skills: You must be able to communicate fluently in English to interact effectively with both team members and the public.
- Residency in Designated Areas: For operational efficiency, we are hiring candidates who live in the areas specified above.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the security industry, allowing you to bring proven skills and knowledge to the role.
- Banking Security Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in banking security is an added advantage, though it’s not mandatory.
- References: Provide contactable references to confirm your previous work experience and reliability.
- Clean Criminal Record: A thorough background check is part of our hiring process to ensure our team upholds high ethical standards.
