What Is the YES Programme?
The YES Programme (Youth Employment Service) is a government-supported initiative aimed at giving young people essential work experience and a foundation for their careers. At Jet, we are excited to provide this opportunity to help develop the future leaders of the retail industry. Who Can Apply?
- You have to be in the 18–29 age range.
- A matric qualification is preferred, but applicants with a Grade 10 qualification will also be considered.
- Employment Status:
- You must be available and willing to work for a fixed-term 12-month contract.
- You must not have participated in or been registered on the YES programme before.
- Study Commitments: You should not be studying full-time during the period of employment (April 2023 to March 2024).
- Logistics: Accommodation and transportation are your own responsibility, if applicable.
- Employment Equity: Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups as outlined in the Employment Equity Act.
