Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate or Equivalent: A strong educational foundation is essential for this role.
- PSIRA Grade C Registration: Candidates must be registered and accredited with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority), which verifies your qualifications in security services.
- Firearm Competency: Certification for handgun, shotgun, and rifle use is advantageous. If you possess firearm competency, this role will allow you to leverage your expertise in tactical situations.
- Clear Criminal Record: For the safety of our clients and our team, all candidates must have a clean criminal record with no pending cases.
- Medically Fit: Security work can be physically demanding. You’ll need to be in good health to carry out the responsibilities effectively.
- Valid Driver’s License and Driving Experience: A valid driver’s license is essential, as you may need to travel within and around the site. Previous experience driving under varying conditions is also beneficial.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, effective communication—both written and verbal—is essential in this role. You’ll be required to interact with clients, write reports, and coordinate with your team.
- Tactical Experience: Hands-on tactical experience is a plus, enabling you to respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations.
- Flexibility to Work Shifts: Security is a 24/7 commitment, and you’ll need to be available for night shifts and extended periods when necessary.
- Residence in Randfontein/Westonaria Area: Candidates should live within the Westonaria or Randfontein area to ensure prompt response times.

Responsibilities
- Patrolling and Monitoring: You’ll conduct regular patrols of the site to identify potential threats and ensure all areas are secure.
- Responding to Alarms and Emergencies: When incidents occur, you’ll be among the first to respond, protecting clients and managing the situation until it’s resolved.
- Reporting and Documentation: Accurate record-keeping is vital. You’ll need to write clear, detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any measures taken.
- Client Interaction: Building trust with clients and maintaining open lines of communication are important aspects of this role.
