What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: You must have completed your Matric (Grade 12), ensuring you have a solid educational foundation.
- PSIRA Registration: A Grade C PSIRA registration is a must. This certification verifies your professionalism and commitment to the standards of the security industry.
- National Key Point Certificate: You should hold a completed National Key Point Certificate, demonstrating your capability to handle high-security environments.
- Clean Criminal Record: A clear criminal record is essential to uphold the trust and integrity required for this position.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant working experience is required. This experience helps ensure you are well-prepared for the responsibilities of the role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are crucial. You will be interacting with clients, colleagues, and possibly the public, so being able to convey information clearly and effectively is key.
- Firearm Competency: You must have competency in at least one type of firearm—handgun, shotgun, or rifle—for business purposes. This qualification is necessary for handling security situations that may involve firearms.
