What You’ll Do as a Client Service Officer
As a Client Service Officer in the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) unit, you will be the face of the Department at labour centres. Your daily work will include:
- Assisting clients with UIF benefit applications
- Providing accurate information about unemployment insurance policies
- Supporting clients through the application and appeals processes
- Ensuring efficient, people-first service in line with Batho Pele principles
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring citizens receive the support they need during unemployment, contributing directly to social stability and economic empowerment.

- Annual Salary: R269,499

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (Matric)
- No prior work experience required
- Eagerness to learn and serve the public
