Your Role as a Security Officer
As a Security Officer at our Rustenburg site, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our client’s property, staff, and visitors. Your main duties will include:
- Providing security services to our client, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times.
- Monitoring and responding promptly to any security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activities.
- Conducting regular patrols and inspections of the premises to detect any security threats.
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents, patrols, and any irregularities.
- Collaborating with the security team to implement effective security measures and strategies.
- Assisting in emergency situations, including evacuations and first-response actions when required.
- Offering excellent customer service, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and staff requiring security assistance.
What We Are Looking For
- A valid PSIRA Certificate, ensuring you are a registered and qualified security professional.
- A Matric certificate (or equivalent qualification) to demonstrate your educational background.
- A recognized training certificate in security-related courses.
- A valid RSA ID to confirm your eligibility to work in South Africa.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the security industry, demonstrating your ability to handle various security scenarios effectively.
- Must reside within the Rustenburg vicinity, as the role requires familiarity with the area and availability for immediate response.
