Minimum Requirements

  • PSIRA Grade C Registration: All applicants must hold a valid PSIRA Grade C registration, proving their competence and accreditation within the security industry.
  • Firearm Competency: While not mandatory, applicants with firearm competency (specifically in handling handguns, shotguns, and rifles) will have a distinct advantage. This competency enhances the ability to manage potential threats effectively.
  • Educational Background: Candidates must have completed at least Grade 11 or hold a Matric certificate (or an equivalent qualification). This educational foundation ensures that all security officers have the necessary cognitive skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Criminal Record: A clean record is essential. Applicants must not have any pending or previous criminal cases. This requirement ensures the integrity and trustworthiness of the security personnel we deploy.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. This includes the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and law enforcement when necessary.
