Minimum Requirements
- PSIRA Grade C Registration: All applicants must hold a valid PSIRA Grade C registration, proving their competence and accreditation within the security industry.
- Firearm Competency: While not mandatory, applicants with firearm competency (specifically in handling handguns, shotguns, and rifles) will have a distinct advantage. This competency enhances the ability to manage potential threats effectively.
- Educational Background: Candidates must have completed at least Grade 11 or hold a Matric certificate (or an equivalent qualification). This educational foundation ensures that all security officers have the necessary cognitive skills to perform their duties effectively.
