About the Role
As a Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure our premises are always spotless and well-maintained. From dusting and mopping to handling unexpected messes, your work will directly contribute to the overall experience of everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll also collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure that every corner of our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Cleaning Tasks
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to keep them clean and presentable.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, ensuring they are always stocked with necessary supplies.
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in a timely and hygienic manner.
- Handling Spills and Messes
- Responding quickly to clean up spills, broken glass, and other messes to maintain a safe environment.
- Using appropriate cleaning products and equipment to address different types of spills and stains.
- Routine Inspections
- Conducting regular checks to ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and meet hygiene standards.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or supply shortages to the relevant supervisor.
- Team Collaboration
- Working closely with other cleaners to coordinate tasks and ensure all areas are covered.
- Supporting your team to maintain a consistent standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Residency: You must live close to Fourways to ensure easy and reliable commuting.
- Experience: At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a similar role.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure no area is overlooked.
