Position Overview
As a Security Officer – Grade C, you will play a critical role in maintaining safety and security in the Kempton Park area. This position requires a proactive individual who is physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure. You will be responsible for a range of duties, including patrolling, access control, and report writing, ensuring that all security protocols are followed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular details to insure the safety and security of the demesne.
- Examiner and control access points, icing only authorized labor force enter confined areas.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, daily activities, and security breaches.
- Maintain and update relevant registers and logs as required.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures and training guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of Grade 10 education.
- Grade C accreditation and registration.
- At least 2 years of experience in the security industry.
- A clean criminal record and willingness to undergo regular criminal checks.
- Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role effectively.
- Residency within the advertised area (Kempton Park).
- AVSEC training and a valid ACSA permit.
