What You’ll Do

As a Forklift Driver at MCE Electric, your responsibilities will include:

1. Safely Operating Equipment:
   • Use your expertise to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment with precision and care.
   • Ensure all materials are moved safely and efficiently within the warehouse and production facility.
2. Loading and Unloading:
   • Load and unload goods from trucks and other vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
   • Securely stack and organize loads to prevent damage and ensure easy access.
3. Maintaining Equipment and Workspaces:
   • Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
   • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe environment.
4. Adhering to Safety Guidelines:
   • Promote a culture of safety by setting an example for your colleagues.
5. Supporting Inventory Management:
   • Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking and storing materials.
   • Help with ad-hoc warehouse duties as needed to support the team.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Forklift Driver.
• A valid driver’s license and a valid forklift license.
• Forklift certification to demonstrate your expertise and compliance with industry standards.
