What You’ll Do:

As a Claims Learner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless claims management while delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Claims Administration & Processing:
    • Register and validate new claims, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Assess claims, verify policy coverage, and process payments within delegated authority.
    • Maintain detailed records and update claim statuses on the IMS system.
    • Collaborate with the underwriting team to address gaps in coverage and resolve discrepancies.
  2. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint.
    • Liaise with brokers, agents, and external partners to negotiate settlements and provide regular updates on claim progress.
  3. Compliance & Problem-Solving:
    • Ensure all claims are handled in line with Sasria’s policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Escalate complex or contentious claims to your supervisor for further review.
    • Perform ad hoc tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum Qualification: Matric (Grade 12).
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
    • Ability to analyze information, make sound decisions, and solve problems effectively.
    • Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, brokers, and team members.
    • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
