What You’ll Do:
As a Claims Learner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless claims management while delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Claims Administration & Processing:
- Register and validate new claims, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Assess claims, verify policy coverage, and process payments within delegated authority.
- Maintain detailed records and update claim statuses on the IMS system.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to address gaps in coverage and resolve discrepancies.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Liaise with brokers, agents, and external partners to negotiate settlements and provide regular updates on claim progress.
- Compliance & Problem-Solving:
- Ensure all claims are handled in line with Sasria’s policies and regulatory requirements.
- Escalate complex or contentious claims to your supervisor for further review.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum Qualification: Matric (Grade 12).
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to analyze information, make sound decisions, and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, brokers, and team members.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
