You will enroll in a training programme designed to develop your skills as an Apprentice Electrician, with the ultimate goal of qualifying as a Millwright Artisan Electrician. This dual-role profession combines electrical and mechanical disciplines giving you a broader scope of skills, and making you more marketable to future employers.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

1. Matric (Senior Certificate) Requirements:

  • Must have passed English with at least 50%
  • Must have passed Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) with a minimum of 40%

2. N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies:

You must hold an N3 qualification that includes:

  • Engineering Science
  • Mathematics
  • Trade Theory Subjects like:
    • Electro Techniques
    • Mechano Techniques
    • Electrical Technology
  • Plus, one additional trade-related technical subject such as:
    • Technical Drawings
    • Industrial Electronics

All subjects must be passed with at least 50% to qualify.
