Job Role and Responsibilities
As a Fitter & Turner Apprentice, your day-to-day activities will include:
- Strictly adhering to safety protocols and contributing to Weir’s zero-harm culture.
- Operating and maintaining plant machinery and equipment with precision.
- Using measuring instruments such as verniers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure machining accuracy.
- Machining hard parts on manual machines through methods like turning, threading, boring, and tapering.

- Troubleshooting machining and mechanical issues under supervision.

Essential Qualifications
