Key Responsibilities

- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintaining your vehicle to the highest standard is essential. You will need to ensure that the vehicle is clean and report any defects or issues promptly. Regular inspections of your vehicle are part of your responsibilities.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and the company’s standards is a top priority. You will be expected to work in line with Murray & Roberts Cementation’s health and safety protocols, ensuring the safety of both yourself and your colleagues.
- Work Hours Flexibility: Occasionally, you may be required to work outside of standard hours to meet operational demands.

Minimum Requirements
- Educational Qualifications:
- It is necessary to have a Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- Licenses:
- A valid EC Driver’s License is mandatory.
- A Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) is also essential.
- A Hi-Ab (Crane) license would be advantageous, although not compulsory.
- An advanced driver’s license is preferred.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential to communicate effectively within the team.
- A solid understanding of vehicle load distribution to ensure safety during transport.
- Knowledge of safe handling and transportation of dangerous goods will be highly valued.
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a licensed EC driver is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in operating or driving mobile equipment.
- Familiarity with the mining industry or similar environments will be advantageous.
