Key Responsibilities
As a Cook and Cleaner, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s kitchen and contributing to a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Meal Preparation:
- Preparing nutritious and delicious lunches and snacks for the students.
- Ensuring meals are delivered to classrooms efficiently and on time.
- Kitchen Maintenance:
- Washing dishes, utensils, and maintaining a hygienic kitchen area.
- Cleaning and organizing the kitchen after meal preparation.
- Grocery Management:
- Compiling detailed shopping lists based on the school’s requirements.
- Managing the stock of school groceries, ensuring that supplies are always adequately maintained.
- Aftercare Assistance:
- Supporting the aftercare team in the afternoons, helping create a safe and engaging environment for children during their extended hours.

Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- A Matric certificate or an equivalent qualification is the minimum requirement.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or child-focused environment.
