Your Day-to-Day: What to Expect
Throughout the Graduate Development Programme, you will be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of our business. From Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 17:00, you’ll work alongside seasoned professionals who will guide you through various aspects of the logistics and supply chain industry. Occasionally, you’ll work night shifts to gain comprehensive exposure to the full range of operational activities.
Here’s a closer look at the key responsibilities and experiences you can expect:
- Supporting Management: You will assist managers in implementing new policies, procedures, and strategies, ensuring seamless operations and improving efficiency. This will involve helping to track business performance, writing reports, and analyzing key data to make informed decisions.
- Operational Knowledge: As part of your role, you’ll gain a deep understanding of how different departments function. You’ll learn about daily processes, key performance areas, and how each team contributes to the overall success of the company.
- People Management: A key aspect of your role will be familiarizing yourself with the different facets of people management, from workforce planning to performance evaluation.
- Strategic Planning: You’ll contribute to strategic planning initiatives, collaborating with management to shape the future direction of our business. This will involve working on projects aimed at optimizing performance, enhancing profitability, and minimizing operational risk.
- Client Engagement: You’ll have the opportunity to develop and showcase your presentation skills by creating and delivering client presentations. This will not only boost your confidence but also help enhance our engagement with key clients.

Minimum Requirements:
- South African driver’s license and reliable transportation: Mobility is crucial as you’ll be working across various locations.
- A qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport and Road Freight, Management, or a Bachelor of Commerce in Transport Economics.
- Having an Honours degree can be beneficial, but it’s not a requirement.
