Position: Patrolling Officer
Location: Mthatha, Eastern Cape
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols in designated areas to prevent and deter security threats.
- Ensure safety and protection of clients, property, and assets.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
- Maintain visibility to create a strong security presence and discourage unlawful activities.
- Conduct investigations into suspicious activities and report any security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security records.
- Follow all company security protocols and adhere to standard operating procedures.
What You Need to Qualify:
- Valid Driver’s License – The ability to operate security vehicles is essential.
- PSIRA Registration – Must be registered and compliant with security industry regulations.
- Grade C Security Certification – Required for professional security work.
- Response Certificate – Demonstrating competency in responding to security threats.
- Firearm Competency Certificate – Must be certified and trained to handle firearms professionally.
