Who Should Apply?

  • Candidates must be within the age range of 18 to 35 years.
  • You must have completed an N6 qualification in Business or Engineering Studies in either 2023 or 2024.
  • You must not be currently employed or receiving any form of income or stipend from another programme.
  • You must reside within one of the following District Municipalities:
    • King Cetshwayo
    • iLembe
    • uMkhanyakude

If you have completed your N6 qualification in the last six months and are still waiting for your certificate, you are encouraged to apply, provided you can submit a letter of completion.

Fields of Study

The programme is geared towards graduates who have completed their studies in the following areas:

  • Business Studies (N4 to N6)
  • Engineering Studies (N4 to N6)

If you’ve studied Human Resources, Marketing, Financial Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar courses, this learnership is highly relevant to your background.

Required Documents for Application

To be considered for this opportunity, you must submit a complete application that includes the following documentation:

  1. An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) that highlights your qualifications and experience.
  2. A certified copy of your South African ID, with certification not older than three months.
  3. A certified copy of your N6 certificate or a letter confirming completion of N6.
  4. Your academic transcript or record from uMfolozi TVET College.
  5. A letter confirming completion of your N6 studies.
  6. Proof of residence that clearly shows your physical address within the required district municipalities.
  7. A signed affidavit confirming that you are unemployed and not receiving any financial support or stipend from another institution or government-funded programme.

Incomplete applications or those missing key documents will not be considered, so be sure to double-check everything before you submit.
