What You’ll Do:
As an intern in the Invoicing team, your responsibilities will be both diverse and impactful. Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day tasks might involve:
- Client Information Management: Keep our client records up-to-date, ensuring accuracy in every detail.
- Invoicing: Create and send invoices and statements to claimants. Ensure that each invoice is thoroughly checked and validated before it is issued.
- Progress Updates: Provide claimants with updates on payout progress, keeping them informed and reassured.
- Document Preparation: Assist with typing and editing various documents including briefs, technical papers, letters, and memos.
- Risk Reporting: Stay vigilant and report on any emerging risks to maintain smooth operations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Follow up on queries and provide feedback to all relevant parties, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Duplicate Checks: Conduct thorough checks to prevent duplicate invoices and maintain financial integrity.
- Validation Tasks: Validate expert invoices, supplier claims, and other related details to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Educational Background: You should have completed a Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certificate and hold a National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills are essential. Familiarity with Motor Vehicle Accident Legislation will be advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are key. We value emotional intelligence and a genuine desire to learn and contribute.
