Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Access and Egress Control: Monitor and regulate the entry and exit points of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fences.
- Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of hospital grounds, buildings, and parking areas to detect and prevent incidents.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate crimes, security breaches, and other incidents; compile accurate reports and statements.
- Key Control: Manage and monitor all hospital keys, ensuring they are secure and accounted for.
- Supervision: Oversee and coordinate outsourced security personnel to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
- Communication: Report observations clearly and professionally to supervisors and relevant authorities.
- Shift Flexibility: Be available to work various shifts and respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7)
- Professional Registration: Must be a Security Officer Grade C or higher, registered with the Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA)
- Experience: Previous experience as a Security Officer in a professional environment
- Knowledge:
- Security-related prescripts, regulations, and procedures
- Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and remain vigilant at all times
- Physical fitness and readiness to handle shift work
- Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
