Job Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing Each Day
Working as a Cleaner at SunBet involves much more than simply tidying up. Your work supports the health, safety, and comfort of both staff and customers in a fast-paced retail setting. Your daily tasks will include:
Daily Cleaning & Facility Maintenance
- Clean and mop floors using professional-grade equipment and cleaning supplies
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets and ensure they are dry before the business day begins
- Wipe down desks, chairs, and high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene
- Clean glass, windows, walls, and doors using the correct chemicals and equipment
Kitchen & Equipment Sanitation
- Clean and maintain the staff kitchen, including dishes and appliances
- Set up and maintain tea and refreshment stations
- Complete daily dishwasher maintenance and ensure all crockery is correctly stored
Inventory & Safety Checks
- Monitor and check cleaning chemical levels
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is clean, safe to use, and properly stored
- Follow correct storage procedures for cleaning products and hazardous materials
- Report any safety hazards, broken equipment, or required repairs
Customer Interaction
- Greet clients with professionalism and friendliness
- Be available to respond to questions or concerns from staff or visitors
- Provide excellent customer service in line with SunBet’s service standards
Additional Duties
- Ensure cleanliness of all public-facing areas throughout the day
- Remove trash and waste consistently and responsibly
- Maintain high levels of hygiene according to internal protocols and environmental standards
