As a Cleaner at the State Theatre, you’ll ensure that our facilities are always in top-notch condition. Your work will help maintain an environment that reflects our commitment to excellence and care. Cleanliness is vital to our daily operations, and you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining a safe, sanitized, and welcoming space.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning of Various Areas: Ensure all areas are spotless, including workplaces, common areas, offices, theaters, bathrooms, passages, foyers, as well as inside and outside the building.
- Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and buff floors to keep them clean and presentable. Your attention to detail will help maintain the shine and cleanliness of high-traffic areas.
- Vacuuming Carpets and Upholstered Furniture: Regularly vacuum carpeted areas and furniture to remove dust, dirt, and debris.
- Dusting and Polishing Surfaces: Dust and polish various surfaces to enhance the overall appearance of the facility.
- Restocking Supplies: Ensure that all bathrooms and common areas are restocked with essential supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- Trash Management: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately to maintain a clutter-free environment.
- Adhering to Cleaning Schedules: Follow a structured cleaning schedule to ensure that each area is maintained regularly and to the highest standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Education Requirements: No formal qualifications are required, making this an accessible opportunity for individuals ready to work and learn.
- Experience: It is recommended if you have previous cleaning experience of at least six months. It will help if you have experience in a similar capacity, particularly if you have worked in theatres or other high-traffic areas.
