Key Responsibilities

In this position, you’ll be expected to deliver high-quality service across various hospitality settings within the SARB premises. Duties include:

  • Food and Beverage Service: Deliver refreshments and meals to boardrooms, meeting rooms, and tea areas according to set schedules and standards.
  • Setup and Cleanup: Ensure that dining areas, boardrooms, and buffet setups are clean, organized, and ready for use. This includes setting up tea pause stations and clearing after meetings or events.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in opening, recording, and closing inventory for the tea and food service areas.
  • Guest Interaction: Apply professional etiquette and customer service when interacting with SARB employees and visitors.
  • Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with fellow team members to maintain service quality and respond to requests.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education:
    • Matric
    • A certificate in Food and Beverage Handling (also NQF Level 4) will be an advantage.
