Key Responsibilities
As a Security Guard at FlySafair, your responsibilities will be dynamic and integral to the smooth operation of our facilities:
- Access Control: One of your primary duties will be to monitor and control the access points to our facility. This involves ensuring that only authorized personnel, vehicles, materials, and company assets are permitted to enter, move within, and exit the premises. You’ll be the first line of defense against unauthorized access, playing a crucial role in maintaining the security of our operations.
- Incident Response: You will be responsible for responding to any incidents of unauthorized access or security breaches. This could include assisting with the removal of violators from the premises, engaging with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring that any disturbances are swiftly and effectively dealt with.
- Vigilance and Reporting: Staying alert to signs of criminal activity or disturbances is vital. You’ll need to maintain a constant awareness of your surroundings, identifying and reporting any suspicious incidents or activities to the appropriate authorities. Your vigilance will be key to preventing security breaches before they escalate.
- Patrolling Duties: You will be required to patrol all facilities and the perimeter regularly. These patrols are essential for deterring criminal activity and ensuring that all areas of the facility are secure.
