Role Overview: Security Official at SARB

Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Security Industry Qualifications: PSIRA Grade C certification.
- Firearm Competency: Valid competency certificate for handling firearms, including 9 mm pistols, semi-automatic rifles, and shotguns.
- Experience: A minimum of two to five years of working experience in a security environment.
- Legislative Knowledge: Sound understanding of applicable legislation, including the National Key Points Act 102 of 1980, Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000, and Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977.
- Fitness: A level of medical, psychological, and physical fitness commensurate with the inherent requirements of the position.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated professionalism, discipline, and the physical fitness to work long hours.
