The Learnership Programme
Sanlam Corporate is thrilled to offer a unique learnership opportunity designed for enthusiastic young individuals seeking to gain valuable work experience and achieve a national qualification. This learnership is an integral part of our talent development strategy and serves as a gateway to our Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP). Upon successful completion, high-performing participants will have the chance to secure permanent junior roles within our organization, supported by a tailored development plan.
What the YEP Learnership Includes:
- 12-Month Contract: A one-year commitment that provides extensive learning and development opportunities.
- Monthly Allowance: Financial support to cover living expenses during the programme.
- Financial Assistance for Studies: Support for educational costs related to the qualification.
- National Qualification: Achieve a Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 4).
- On-the-Job Training: Hands-on experience within our corporate environment.
- Continuous Coaching and Mentoring: Regular guidance from experienced professionals.
- Portfolio of Evidence: Documentation of your work and learning experiences.
Your Responsibilities:
- Learn About Our Business: Gain a deep understanding of Sanlam’s products, services, and operational processes.
- Classroom Learning: Participate in structured lessons to build foundational knowledge.
- Practical Training: Engage in on-site training to apply your learning in real-world scenarios.
- Compile Evidence: Assemble a Portfolio of Evidence to showcase your achievements and learning.
- Logbooks and Assessments: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary assessments.
- Perform Duties: Carry out tasks and responsibilities assigned by your manager.
Requirements:
- South African Citizenship: Must be a citizen of South Africa.
- Unemployed Status: Candidates must currently be without employment.
- Age Requirement: Individuals applying must be in the age range of 18 to 35 years.
- Educational Background: Must have passed Grade 12 with at least 50% in Mathematics/Mathematics Literacy/Accounting and English.
- English Proficiency: Strong command of English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Commitment: Willingness to complete the full 12-month programme and achieve the Certificate in Wealth Management.
- Clear Background: Must have a clean criminal and credit record.
- Reliable Transport: Access to dependable transportation is required.
