Premier is seeking a meticulous individual to join our team as a General Worker Fuel Station Attendant in Aeroton. This permanent role allows you to contribute directly to the efficient delivery of our bakery products by ensuring our vehicles are always fueled and prepared.

Key Responsibilities:
Fueling Operations: As a Fuel Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to manage the fueling operations for our fleet of bakery vehicles. This involves accurately pumping fuel, closely monitoring fuel levels, and ensuring that each vehicle is fueled efficiently and effectively. Your role is crucial in keeping our delivery schedules on track, making sure our vehicles are always ready for their routes.
Safety and Compliance: Safety is paramount in this role. You will be expected to follow all safety protocols for fuel handling, including wearing appropriate safety gear and adhering to environmental regulations. This ensures not only your safety but also the safety of your colleagues and the environment.
Cleaning and Maintenance: A clean and organized fueling area is essential for smooth operations. Part of your duties will include keeping the fueling area tidy, disposing of trash properly, and performing tasks such as cleaning windshields when requested. Your attention to detail helps maintain a professional and safe work environment.
Stock Management: You will be responsible for monitoring fuel levels in storage tanks, ensuring that we never run out of fuel. This includes ordering fuel supplies as needed and coordinating with suppliers to maintain an uninterrupted fuel supply. Your proactive approach will help avoid any disruptions in our operations.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of fuel transactions is another critical aspect of this role. Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Requirements: You must have completed Grade 12, demonstrating numerical ability and basic PC literacy.
- Licensing: A valid code C driver’s license is essential for this role.
- Experience: We require at least three years of experience in a similar position within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. A sound knowledge of sales and fuel management practices will be advantageous.
