What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensuring compliance with company standards, regulations, and merchandising plans.
- Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards – Keeping both the sales floor and back-up areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Stock management – Conducting quality checks, rotating stock, and removing damaged or expired products to minimize waste.
- Customer service excellence – Approaching customers, advising them on products, and handling their needs with professionalism and care.
- Loss prevention – Following security procedures and pricing checks to reduce shrinkage and damages.
- Team collaboration – Working shifts as needed and being flexible to support different store locations when required.
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum Education: Grade 10 (Grade 12 is advantageous).
- Experience: 2-3 years in retail (a plus, but not mandatory if you’re eager to learn).
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts and be transferred between stores if needed.
- Integrity: Must pass credit and criminal checks (authorization required).
- Customer-First Mindset: Ability to see situations from the customer’s perspective and respond positively.
- Strong Work Ethic: A sense of urgency, attention to detail, and commitment to high standards.
- Physical Stamina: The role can be physically demanding, including standing for long periods and handling stock.
