Key Job Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing

As a forklift driver at Nando’s Feitoria, you’ll do much more than move goods.

Forklift and Materials Handling Operations

• Transport raw materials from storage to the production line and move finished goods to dispatch.
• Operate forklifts with care, ensuring the safe handling of all products and materials.
• Wrap, scan, and stack pallets correctly for storage or dispatch using the correct equipment.
• Ensure SAP transactions are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Monitor stock movements and maintain accurate inventory logs.

Health and Safety Compliance

• Regularly inspect your forklift and immediately report any mechanical issues or hazards.
• Never engage in unsafe behavior and always maintain awareness of your surroundings.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and hazard-free in line with factory housekeeping standards.

Production Support

• Ensure materials are delivered to production stations on time to keep operations running smoothly.
• Communicate effectively with the packing team and hand over duties clearly to the next shift.
• Collect and distribute pallets in accordance with internal demand and product flow requirements.
• Accurately fill out required documentation and clarify discrepancies during audits.
• Replenish packaging and materials based on real-time production needs.

What You Need to Apply
