Position: Experienced Code 10 & Code 14 Driver
This role is crucial to our operations at CA Autolek. As an experienced driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transportation: Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to specified locations. You will be trusted to handle our deliveries with care and professionalism.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. This includes routine inspections of brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels, reporting any issues promptly to the maintenance team.
- Compliance with Road Safety Regulations: Follow all road safety rules and regulations to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the road. We value responsible driving and expect our drivers to be exemplary in this regard.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dispatch and other team members to plan routes, manage schedules, and ensure that delivery objectives are met. Your role will be integral to our daily operations, and we rely on strong team collaboration to achieve our goals.
- Customer Service Excellence: As a driver, you may be the face of CA Autolek for many clients.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s license is required.
- Location: You must reside in or be willing to commute to Kimberley, Northern Cape.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional driver is essential. We’re looking for someone who is experienced and knowledgeable about driving in a variety of conditions.
- Teamwork Skills: Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with other team members. At CA Autolek, we foster a team-oriented environment, and we need drivers who can handle a fast-paced work setting.
- Educational Qualifications: Matric or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
