Key Responsibilities

  1. Electrical and Mechanical Machinery Maintenance:
    • Conduct maintenance on medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems.
    • Assist in diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical equipment issues.
  2. Design and Drafting Support:
    • Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD software.
    • Draft electrical construction documents with precision.
  3. Data Analysis and Modelling:
    • Contribute to data-driven solutions for operational challenges.
  4. Site Investigations and Documentation:
    • Collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  5. Project Meetings and Coordination:
    • Attend project meetings to discuss project progress, resource allocation, and weekly assignments.
    • Provide insights and suggestions for potential system upgrades.
  6. Troubleshooting and Risk Management:
    • Assist with equipment breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis.
    • Identify risks associated with electrical equipment, including evaluating the lifespan of machinery.
  7. Compliance and Safety:
    • Perform duties aligned with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) standards.
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols.

Minimum Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • An N6 qualification with relevant coursework in engineering disciplines.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Basic understanding of engineering principles, particularly in mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software, especially AutoCAD.
  • Required Subjects:
    • Mathematics
    • Engineering Science
    • Industrial Electronics
    • Electrical Technology, Electrotechnology, or Electrotechnics
