Role Overview:
As a Bag Packer/Cleaner, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our feed production process runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include everything from loading and packing bags to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to our stringent health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Bag Loading and Packing: Efficiently load bags with feed, ensuring that each bag is filled, stitched, and stacked correctly.
- Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning final product bins and ensuring the work area is tidy and safe.
- Job Rotation: Rotate between various tasks to develop a range of skills and support different areas of the production process.
- Housekeeping: Uphold high standards of housekeeping to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all health and safety rules to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- ISO and Management System Compliance: Commit to and comply with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, 20 Keys, AFMA code of conduct, and other company management systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Grade 12 qualification at the very least.
- An eagerness to learn new skills and advance in a multi-skilled work environment.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, responsibility, and initiative.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime on short notice as required by the demands of the job.
