Key Responsibilities
As a Driver for Mafoko Security Patrols, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our security services. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Transportation: Safely transport security personnel and equipment to various locations as required.
- Operational Support: Assist with the setup and maintenance of security operations at client sites.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may arise.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition, perform regular checks, and report any issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents or issues encountered during operations.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the necessary skills:
- PSiRA Grade C Registered: You must hold a valid PSiRA Grade C registration.
- Education: A Grade 12/Matric certificate is required.
- Physical Fitness: The role demands a good level of physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
- Driver’s License: A valid Code C1 (10) driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is essential.
- Firearm Competency: While not mandatory, having competency in handling handguns and shotguns will be advantageous.
- Work Under Pressure: Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure and in demanding situations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are crucial for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected challenges efficiently.
- Employee Relations: Good interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Operational Efficiency: Capability to ensure that all operational structures and procedures are adhered to meticulously.
- Clean Record: No criminal record and a clean disciplinary record are mandatory.
