Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Service Excellence:

  2. Cashier Duties:
    • Efficiently process cash and card transactions at the till, ensuring accuracy with every sale.
    • Handle lay-bys and process customer refunds as necessary.
    • Report any discrepancies or issues to your supervisor and assist with till balancing at the end of your shift.
  3. Merchandising Responsibilities:
    • Ensure that all stock is correctly priced and attractively displayed to entice customers.
    • Maintain a well-stocked and organized sales floor, ensuring popular items are readily available.
    • Stay updated on current promotions and effectively communicate these to customers.
  4. Risk Management:
    • Tag products in accordance with company policy to prevent theft and loss.
    • Participate in regular stock takes to help maintain accurate inventory levels.
    • Be vigilant, reporting any suspicious behavior or potential shoplifting incidents to management promptly.
