About the Role
As a Picker and Packer, your main responsibility will be to ensure that products are accurately picked and securely packed for delivery. This role is crucial to our operation, as it directly impacts our ability to fulfill customer orders efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Accurate Picking: Follow order specifications closely to pick the right items for each order. Your accuracy ensures that our customers receive exactly what they ordered.
- Secure Packing: Pack products carefully and efficiently to minimize the risk of damage during transit. Your packing skills will help us maintain our reputation for delivering quality goods.
- Organized Workspace: Keep your work area clean and organized. A tidy workspace helps everyone work more efficiently and safely.
- Safety First: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Your safety is our priority, and we want to ensure a secure working environment for everyone.
- Inventory Management: Assist with managing inventory and stock rotation. Your ability to keep track of stock will help us stay organized and well-stocked.
- Additional Tasks: Be ready to perform other tasks as required by your supervisor.
Who We’re Looking For
- Location: You must reside in Alexandra and be able to commute to our Marlboro site easily.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is essential. You should be familiar with picking and packing procedures.
- Education: A valid matric certificate is required to ensure a foundational level of education.
- Criminal Record: A clear criminal record is necessary to maintain the safety and integrity of our team and operations.
- Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and detail is critical in this role. We need someone who can be trusted to get it right every time.
- Team Player: You should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Collaboration and communication are vital for our success.
