Who Is Eligible to Apply?
To be considered for the SANParks Internship Programme, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Unemployed at the time of application
- Have completed a National Diploma, Bachelor’s, Honours, or Master’s degree (NQF Level 6–9) in one of the fields listed above
- Graduated from a South African Public Higher Education Institution (HEI)
- Must not have previously participated in any internship or graduate placement programme
- Willing to relocate or travel, as the internships are based in specific offices within Kruger National Park
What You’ll Earn
Interns will receive a monthly stipend based on their qualification level:
- R6,355.69 – R10,486.58 per month
This stipend is intended to support interns during the 24-month programme, helping cover living expenses while gaining practical experience. Please note that accommodation and transportation are not provided, unless otherwise specified by SANParks, and applicants are expected to make their own arrangements if placed away from their area of residence.
