What is the P1 and P2 Work Integrated Learning Programme?
The P1 and P2 WIL programme is a 12-month full-time practical training initiative that aligns with academic institutions’ requirements. It is aimed at students who have already completed all their theoretical modules for a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in either Chemical Engineering or Analytical Chemistry.

Chemical Engineering Learners
- Must have successfully completed all theoretical subjects of a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Must be medically fit for work at BMR and/or PMR facilities.
Analytical Chemistry Learners
- Must have successfully completed all theoretical subjects of a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry.
- Should have a good understanding of fundamental chemistry principles.
- Must be medically fit to perform duties at the specified facilities.
