Position: Tactical Officer (x40 Vacancies Available)
Location: Gauteng, South Africa
Closing Date: 08 April 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level tactical security services to ensure the safety of clients, assets, and property.
- Conduct routine and high-risk patrols in designated operational areas.
- Respond to emergency situations swiftly and effectively.
- Utilize advanced firearm handling skills to neutralize security threats when required.
- Work collaboratively with team members and law enforcement agencies to prevent crime.
- Implement security measures and standard operating procedures as per company protocols.
- Operate under strict security guidelines while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Engage in proactive risk assessment and incident prevention strategies.
- Maintain professional conduct and a high level of situational awareness at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid PSIRA Grade B Certification – A must-have for all tactical security officers.
- SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate – Demonstrating proficiency in handling firearms.
- Firearm Possession: Must own a Handgun, Self-Loading Rifle, and Shotgun with a business-purpose license for all three firearms.
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience – Previous work as a Tactical Officer is required.
- Valid Driver’s License – Must have a driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12) – A fundamental educational requirement.
- Training Certification: Must have successfully completed at least one of the following security training programs:
- Reaction Security Training
- Armed Response Training
- Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Training
- Authentic Statement of Results – Proof of qualifications and training must be provided.
- Physical & Mental Fitness – This role requires endurance, alertness, and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations effectively.
