Role Overview:
As a Supply Chain Intern at Henkel, you will immerse yourself in our operations, quickly assume responsibilities, and focus on developing your strengths. This 24-month internship offers a comprehensive experience through 3 to 6 rotational assignments across various functional areas. You will gain hands-on experience in daily business activities and projects, supported by both professional and personal mentorship. The rotational assignments will include exposure to:
- Supply and Demand Inventory Management: Learn the intricacies of balancing supply and demand to ensure efficient inventory levels and smooth operational flow.
- Customer Service: Understand how to address customer needs effectively, contributing to enhanced customer satisfaction and retention.
- Customer Service Strategy / Supply Chain Enablement: Engage in strategic initiatives that drive the effectiveness of our supply chain and customer service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Operations: Actively participate in and contribute to daily business operations across assigned areas, learning and applying best practices in supply chain management.
- Project Involvement: Engage in various projects, collaborating with team members to achieve project goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Professional Development: Benefit from structured guidance and feedback to refine your skills and prepare for future roles within the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: A minimum of a 3-year diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- Project Focused: Experience or skills in project management is advantageous, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and thoroughness in managing tasks and responsibilities are crucial.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a supply chain-related role, particularly in customer service, planning, or service strategy, is preferred.
