Key Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining safety and security. Your duties will include:
- Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Access Control: Monitor and manage entrance and exit points, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed reports of incidents and daily activities.
- Safeguarding: Protect people, property, and assets from potential threats.
- Completing Registers: Ensure all relevant logs and registers are up-to-date and accurate.
- Standard Duties: Perform all tasks in line with your training and company protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Minimum Grade 10 qualification.
- Certification: Must be accredited and registered as a Grade C, B, or A Security Officer.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the security industry, with a strong preference for candidates with hospitality or residential estates experience.
- Clean Record: No criminal record and willingness to undergo regular criminal checks.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to perform patrols and other duties.
- Location: Must reside in or near the Cape Town area, specifically close to the Phillipi Branch.
