Genet Mineral Processing offers learnerships for 2025/2026 in Instrumentation, Boilermaking, and Diesel Mechanics.
Available Learnership Programs:

- Diesel Mechanic Learnership
Each of these programs offers a unique opportunity to learn essential technical skills that are crucial in the mining industry. Candidates accepted into these programs will receive hands-on training, theoretical education, and exposure to real-world scenarios that prepare them for a rewarding career.
Qualifications and Requirements for All Programs
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- At a minimum, 40% of students are required to achieve a passing grade in mathematics.
- The minimum passing rate for science is set at 40% or higher.
In addition to meeting these requirements, candidates must have completed relevant N2-level subjects based on the specific learnership program, as outlined below.
1. Instrumentation Technician Learnership

Medical Fitness Requirements:
- Candidates must pass a medical assessment and present a valid COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
Preferences: Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
2. Boilermaker Learnership

- N2 Subjects:
- Plater Steel and Structural Drawing
- Plater Trade Theory
Medical Fitness Requirements:
- Candidates must pass a medical assessment and provide a valid COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
3. Diesel Mechanic Learnership
Additional Academic Requirements:
- N2 Subjects:
- Engineering Drawing
- Diesel Trade Theory

- Candidates must pass a medical assessment and provide a valid COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
