About the Program:
At Epiroc, we believe in nurturing talent and investing in the future of our industry. Our Apprenticeship Program is designed to provide practical, on-the-job training that complements your academic knowledge. As part of this program, you’ll have the chance to work with our skilled team at Epiroc Drilling Tools, focusing specifically on Millwright skills. We are currently looking to fill two Millwright Apprenticeship positions.
What We’re Looking For:
Educational Background:
- A completed Grade 12 qualification.
- N2 qualification with subjects in electrical or mechanical fields.
Personal Qualities:
- You should have a passion for equipment maintenance and a knack for practical, logical problem-solving.
- Being medically fit is essential as the role may require physical activity and working in various conditions.
- A willingness to work shifts and potentially take on overtime as needed is crucial for this role.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with team members and supervisors.
- The ability to apply critical thinking and logical reasoning to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- A robust work ethic, combined with a proactive approach, will set you apart as a valuable team member.
- Being a self-starter who thrives in both individual and team environments will ensure your success.
- Enthusiasm and energy are key to making the most of this apprenticeship and contributing positively to our team.
