Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing

Public Works Duties

  • Tool & Equipment Management:
    • Wash, clean, and maintain tools and equipment
    • Load and offload tools and materials safely
    • Stack and transport tools using proper procedures

    • Assist in placing road signage and preparing equipment for tasks
  • Road Maintenance Support:
    • Compact materials such as crusher run and asphalt
    • Guide hoisting and lifting activities safely with ropes or slings
  • Communication:
    • Report issues to supervisors
    • Follow instructions during loading/off-loading operations and roadwork setup

Water & Sanitation Duties

  • Support Plumbing Teams:
    • Hold measuring tools and assist plumbers with site setup
  • Excavation & Drainage:
    • Dig trenches and remove blockages in manholes, pipes, and canals
    • Clean drainage systems using hand tools and remove alien vegetation
  • Infrastructure Preparation:
    • Mix and lay concrete or mortar
